From the center of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, head southeast on Parkway (US-441 S) and continue for about 6 miles. Turn left onto Little Greenbrier Road. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles until you reach the Metcalf Bottoms Trailhead. Park in the designated area and follow the trail markers to Little Greenbrier School, which is a short hike from the parking area. Be aware that there may be parking fees at the trailhead.

Take the trolley service from Gatlinburg. Board the Green Line Trolley that goes towards the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community. Get off at stop 10, which is the closest stop to the Metcalf Bottoms Trailhead. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along Little Greenbrier Road to reach the trailhead. Please check the trolley schedule for operating hours and fares, which typically cost around $1 per ride.

If you are already at a nearby hiking trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you can take the Metcalf Bottoms Trail. Ensure you have a good map or GPS.
