From any location within the Standing Rock Indian Reservation, head west towards Highway 1806. Follow Highway 1806 until you reach the intersection with Interstate 94 (I-94). Merge onto I-94 W towards Bismarck. Continue on I-94 for approximately 30 miles. Take exit 152 for Mandan. After exiting, turn left onto 6th Ave NW, then right onto 3rd St NW. Follow this road until you reach Roughrider Trail. Fort Rice State Historic Site will be on your right. Note that parking is available on-site.
