From the center of Gamlebyen, head northeast on Storgaten towards the riverfront. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Toldbodgaten. Turn right onto Toldbodgaten. Balaklava is located at Toldbodgaten 39B, which is a short walk further down on your right-hand side. The entire walk should take around 5-10 minutes.

If you prefer to take public transport, locate the nearest bus stop in Gamlebyen. Take Bus Line 1 towards 'Berg' or 'Gressvik'. Get off at the 'Gamlebyen' stop, which is less than a 5-minute ride. From there, walk back towards Toldbodgaten, and follow the instructions above. Note that a single bus ticket costs approximately 40 NOK.
