Walking
If you are in the city center of Fredrikstad, start at the Fredrikstad Fortress (Fredriksten Festning). Head south along the riverfront promenade, enjoying the views of the Glomma River. Continue walking straight until you reach the bridge (Old Town Bridge) leading to the other side of the river. Cross the bridge, and once you are on the other side, follow the road as it curves to the left. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Ferjestedsveien. After about a 15-minute walk, you will arrive at Ferjestedsveien 2, where the Fredrikstad ferry port is located.
Public Transport - Bus
From the Fredrikstad Bus Station, take bus number 3 towards 'Slevik'. The bus will take you directly to the stop named 'Ferjestedsveien'. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance towards Ferjestedsveien 2, where the ferry port is located.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Fredrikstad. Start at the city center and head towards the riverfront. Follow the same route as outlined for walking by cycling along the promenade. After crossing the Old Town Bridge, continue straight along the designated bike lanes until you reach Ferjestedsveien 2, the location of the ferry port.
