Walking
From the center of Fredrikstad, head towards the Old Town (Gamlebyen). Start at the Fredrikstad City Hall and walk north on Storgata. Continue straight until you reach the Fredrikstad Bridge (Fredrikstadbrua). Cross the bridge, enjoying the views of the Glomma River. After crossing, turn right onto Rådhusgata and follow the signs to Kråkerøy. Keep walking until you reach the bus stop for route 3 at 'Kråkerøy'. Take bus number 3 towards 'Kråkerøy', and get off at the 'Mindre-alvs vei' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Isegran Fort, located at Minder-alvs vei 2.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental services in Fredrikstad. Start from the Old Town and head towards the Fredrikstad Bridge (Fredrikstadbrua) along the bike lane. Cross the bridge, and once you reach Kråkerøy, follow the signs to Minder-alvs vei. As you ride, enjoy the scenic views along the river. Once you arrive at Minder-alvs vei, look for Isegran Fort at number 2. There are bike racks available for you to secure your bicycle during your visit.
