If you are in the city center of Fredrikstad, start at the Fredrikstad Fortress. From the fortress, head southeast towards the river. Cross the bridge over the Glomma River to reach the Gamlebyen (Old Town). Once across the bridge, continue straight onto Båthavnsgata. After a short walk, turn left onto Voldportgaten. Old Town Hotel AS will be on your left at Voldportgaten 72.

From Fredrikstad bus station, take bus line 1 (Rakkestad) or line 4 (Kirkebygda) and get off at the 'Gamlebyen' stop. After disembarking, walk straight ahead until you reach the main street, and then turn left onto Voldportgaten. Continue walking for approximately 5 minutes, and you will find Old Town Hotel AS at Voldportgaten 72.
