If you are in the center of Fredrikstad, start at the Fredrikstad Fortress (Fredrikstad Festning). From the fortress, walk towards the main road, Rådhusgata. Follow Rådhusgata until you reach the intersection with Torggata. Turn left onto Torggata and continue walking until you reach the bus terminal, which is located on the right side. From the bus terminal, take bus number 5 towards 'Torsnes'. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. When the bus stops at 'Torsnesveien', disembark. From the bus stop, Krigskirkegården is about a 5-minute walk straight ahead on Torsnesveien. The cemetery will be on your left.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike in Fredrikstad. Start at the Fredrikstad City Library (Biblioteket), which is centrally located. Head east on Storgata, then turn right onto Rådhusgata. Continue straight until you reach Torggata, where you will turn left. Follow Torggata to the bus terminal and continue straight. Once you reach the bus terminal, you will see the bike path leading towards Torsnes. Follow the bike path for about 5 kilometers, which will take you directly to Torsnesveien. Once on Torsnesveien, the Krigskirkegården will be on your left after a short ride.

From the central area of Fredrikstad, locate the bus terminal. At the terminal, find the bus that heads towards 'Torsnes'. You can take bus number 5 or check the schedule for other buses going in that direction. The journey takes around 20 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Torsnesveien', get off the bus and walk straight for about 5 minutes. Krigskirkegården will be located on your left at Torsnesveien 18.
