If you are starting from Oslo Central Station (Oslo S), exit the station and head towards the main street, Karl Johans gate. Turn left onto Karl Johans gate and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by the National Theatre and the Parliament building (Stortinget) on your way. The Karl Johan-monumentet is located at the end of Karl Johans gate, in front of the University of Oslo, and is hard to miss.

From Oslo Central Station, take tram line 17 or 18 towards Rikshospitalet. Get off at the stop called Stortinget. From there, walk towards Karl Johans gate, which is just a few steps away. Walk down Karl Johans gate for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Karl Johan-monumentet at its end, in front of the University of Oslo.

If you are near a bus stop, take bus number 34, 37 or 54 towards the stop called Stortinget. After getting off, walk to Karl Johans gate, which is a short distance from the bus stop. Walk down Karl Johans gate for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Karl Johan-monumentet, located in front of the University of Oslo.
