Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Cuyahoga Valley National Park, head to the nearest major road. From the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad's Peninsula Depot, turn left onto Main Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with State Route 303. Turn right onto State Route 303 and then take the first left onto Wetmore Road. Continue on Wetmore Road for approximately 2 miles. The Wetmore Trailhead will be on your left at 4653 Wetmore Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264. There is no parking fee required at the trailhead.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Wetmore Trailhead using public transportation, first take the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad to the Peninsula Depot. From there, you will need to arrange for a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, as there is no direct public transit to the trailhead. Input the address 4653 Wetmore Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264 into the rideshare app. The fare may vary, but expect to pay around $10-$15 for the short ride to the trailhead.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike at one of the nearby bike rental locations in the park. Start at the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail and head south towards Peninsula. Follow the Towpath Trail until you reach the intersection with Wetmore Road. Turn left onto Wetmore Road and bike for about 1 mile until you reach the Wetmore Trailhead at 4653 Wetmore Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all biking regulations.
