Getting There

    From Great Salt Plains State Park, take State Highway 38 (SH-38) south for approximately 14 miles until you reach U.S. Highway 64 (US-64). Turn left onto US-64 and head east for about 10 miles. After reaching the town of Jet, continue straight onto US-281 south, which will take you through the town of Geary. Stay on US-281 for about 40 miles until you reach the junction with State Highway 62 (SH-62) in the town of Anadarko. Turn west onto SH-62 and follow it for about 15 miles. Follow the signs to the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge, which will be on your right at 32 Refuge Headquarters Road, Indiahoma, OK 73552.

    Starting from Great Salt Plains State Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to the nearest bus station in the town of Jet, as public transportation options are limited directly from the park. Once in Jet, you can catch a Greyhound or a local bus to the city of Lawton. From Lawton, take a taxi or rideshare service to Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge at 32 Refuge Headquarters Road, Indiahoma, OK 73552.
