Car
If you are driving from Hood River, take I-84 East. Continue on I-84 for about 15 miles and take exit 44 toward Cascade Locks. Merge onto the Historic Columbia River Highway, and follow it for approximately 6 miles. Turn left onto Lewis and Clark Highway (WA-14) and continue for about 5 miles. Dog Creek Falls will be on your right, just past the small parking area.
Public Transportation
To reach Dog Creek Falls via public transportation, take the Columbia Gorge Express bus from Hood River to Cascade Locks. From the Cascade Locks stop, you will need to call a local taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to cover the remaining distance of about 5 miles along the Historic Columbia River Highway and Lewis and Clark Highway. Check the bus schedule ahead of time, as it may not run frequently.
Walking
If you're near the area and wish to walk, after arriving at the Lewis and Clark Highway, follow the road heading east for approximately 1 mile.
