Start at the Hood River Waterfront Park. Head east along the waterfront trail, following the signs for the Columbia River Gorge. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 1st Street. Turn left onto 1st Street and continue until you reach Oak Street. Turn right on Oak Street, which will take you to the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area. Follow the signs for the Lewis and Clark Highway (WA-14) as you walk along the scenic route.
