If you are traveling by car on the Karakoram Highway, head towards Skardu. Continue along the highway until you reach the town of Astore, which is approximately 150 km from Skardu. From Astore, take the Deosai Park Road (follow signs for Deosai National Park). The last stretch to the park is about 30 km of unpaved road, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. The entrance to Deosai National Park is at the coordinates 34.9705° N, 75.4718° E. Make sure to carry enough fuel, as there are limited refueling options along the way.

To reach Deosai National Park via public transportation, take a bus or shared van from Islamabad to Skardu. The journey can take around 24 hours, so be prepared for a long trip. Once in Skardu, you can hire a jeep to take you to Astore. The jeep ride will take about 2-3 hours. In Astore, you can find local transport options to Deosai National Park. It is advisable to book a jeep in advance for the unpaved roads, and the round trip cost can range from PKR 6,000 to PKR 8,000 depending on the negotiation. Ensure you have enough cash, as ATMs may not be available in remote areas.
