Getting There

Car
If you are starting from Skardu, head northwest on the main road towards the Skardu Airport. Continue on this road for about 20 km until you reach the junction at JSR (Jahangir Shah Road). Take a left turn onto the JSR road. Follow this road for approximately 15 km. You will see signs for Basho Valley. Continue on the road until you arrive at Sultanabad Meadow, which is well-marked and known for its scenic beauty.

Public Transportation
From Skardu, you can take a local bus or shared taxi towards Basho Valley. Head to the central bus station in Skardu and look for buses or shared taxis with signs indicating Basho. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to Sultanabad Meadow, as some may stop at different locations within Basho Valley. The fare is typically between 200-300 PKR.

Once you reach Sultanabad Meadow by car or public transport, you can explore the area on foot. There are several trails leading into the valley that showcase the stunning landscapes. Make sure to carry water and snacks, as facilities may be limited. The walking paths are relatively easy but do wear proper footwear for comfort.
