If you are traveling by car, start from Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Drive towards the Khardung La Pass, which is about 39 km from Leh. After crossing the pass, continue driving towards Nubra Valley. Follow the signs and roads that lead you towards Diskit, which is approximately 120 km from Leh. From Diskit, take the road leading to Bilamik Valley. The valley is around 30 km from Diskit. Be prepared for some rough terrain and ensure your vehicle is in good condition for mountain driving.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a shared taxi or a bus from Leh to Diskit. The journey will take around 4-5 hours. Once in Diskit, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Bilamik Valley. Make sure to negotiate the fare upfront, as taxis may not have a standard rate. The distance from Diskit to Bilamik Valley is about 30 km, and the taxi ride will take approximately 1 hour.
Motorbike
