Getting There

Car
From Skardu, head towards Shigar Valley. The drive will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on road conditions. Follow the main road (Shigar Road) from Skardu, which is well-marked. As you approach Shigar, you will see signs directing you towards Blind Lake. The final stretch involves a dirt road leading directly to the lake. Make sure to have a 4x4 vehicle if possible, as the road can be rough in places.

Public Transportation
Take a shared van or jeep from Skardu to Shigar Valley. These can be found at the main jeep stand in Skardu. The fare is usually around PKR 300-500 per person. The journey will take about 1 hour. Once you reach Shigar, ask the driver or locals for directions to Blind Lake. You may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a guide to take you the last few kilometers to the lake, which may cost an additional PKR 500-1000.

Walking/Trekking
If you're feeling adventurous and are already in Shigar, you can trek to Blind Lake. The trek is about 5 km from the main village of Shigar. Follow the river upstream, and after about an hour of hiking, you will reach Blind Lake. Make sure to carry sufficient water and snacks, and wear appropriate trekking gear.
