Car
If you are driving a car, start from Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Take the NH 1D highway heading towards Kargil. After approximately 50 km, you will reach the town of Sermik. Look for signs directing you to Chhomdu Bridge. The Chocolate Rocks are located near the bridge, so keep your eyes peeled for the distinctive rock formations. The total driving distance from Leh to the Chocolate Rocks is about 75 km and the journey will take approximately 2 hours, depending on road conditions.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Leh, take a local bus heading towards Kargil. These buses are usually available at the main bus station in Leh. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Sermik. The fare is typically around PKR 200-300. After reaching Sermik, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you to Chhomdu Bridge. The Chocolate Rocks are a short distance from the bridge, and walking will take approximately 30 minutes.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Leh to take you to Chocolate Rocks. You can negotiate the fare beforehand; expect to pay around PKR 2500-3000 for a round trip. The taxi will take you directly to Chhomdu Bridge, where you can easily access the Chocolate Rocks. The journey will take about 2 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.

For the adventurous traveler, renting a motorbike in Leh is a great option. Several rental shops offer motorbikes for around PKR 800-1500 per day.
