Getting there

Car

If you are driving from Leh, head towards Kargil on NH 1. The road is scenic and well maintained. After approximately 200 km, take a left turn towards Skardu. Continue on this road for about 150 km until you reach Skardu. Once in Skardu, navigate to Eidgah Colony. Cold Desert Villas is located at House 201, Street 23, Colony, Eidgah, Skardu. Look for local signage or ask locals for directions if needed.

Public Transportation

From Leh, you can take a bus to Skardu, which typically takes around 10-12 hours. Buses leave from the main bus station in Leh and the fare is usually around PKR 2000-3000. Upon arriving in Skardu, take a local taxi or rickshaw to Eidgah Colony. It's about a 15-20 minute ride from the bus station. Inform the driver that you want to reach Cold Desert Villas (House 201, Street 23) to ensure they take you to the correct location.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Leh to Skardu. The cost for a private taxi ranges from PKR 8000-12000, depending on the vehicle and negotiation. The journey takes approximately 10-12 hours. Once in Skardu, you can use local taxis to reach Cold Desert Villas in Eidgah Colony.

Motorbike
