If you're traveling by car, start from Leh, the main city in Ladakh. Head northeast on the Leh-Manali Highway (NH3). After approximately 85 km, take a right turn towards the road leading to Khane. Follow this road for about 60 km until you reach Khane, located in the Gilgit-Baltistan region. Please note that the roads can be challenging with steep inclines and rough patches, so make sure to drive carefully.

Public Transportation

For those relying on public transportation, first, take a bus from Leh to Skardu. The journey typically takes around 10-12 hours. From Skardu, you will need to hire a local taxi or find a shared jeep that goes to Khane. The taxi ride from Skardu to Khane will take about 2-3 hours. Shared Jeep

If you prefer a more adventurous option, consider taking a shared jeep from Skardu to Khane. These can often be found at the main bus station in Skardu.
