If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Leh, the capital of Ladakh. Take the Leh-Khardung La Road (NH-1) towards Nubra Valley. Continue driving for about 120 km until you reach Diskit. From Diskit, follow the signs towards Kharfaq. The road will lead you through picturesque landscapes. Once you reach Kharfaq village, look for signs directing you to the Kharfaq Waterfall. The waterfall is approximately 5 km from the village on Shyok River Valley Road. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain, as the last stretch can be bumpy.

For public transportation, you can take a shared taxi or a local bus from Leh to Diskit. The shared taxi can be found at the Leh taxi stand and typically costs around 600-800 PKR per person. The bus may be cheaper but runs less frequently and can take longer. Once in Diskit, hire a local jeep or taxi to take you to Kharfaq. This will cost approximately 2000 PKR for a round trip. The driver will take you directly to the waterfall, which is about 5 km from Kharfaq village.
