If you are traveling by car from Leh, head northwest on NH 1 towards Kargil. After approximately 200 km, you will reach the town of Kargil. From Kargil, follow the signs to the Nubra Valley, which will take you via the Khardung La pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. After descending from the pass, continue towards Diskit and then to Turtuk. The drive from Leh to Turtuk can take around 7 to 8 hours depending on road conditions. Upon reaching Turtuk, follow local directions to the Turtuk waterfall, which is located near the Tsangzer area.

To reach Turtuk via public transportation, take a shared taxi or bus from Leh to Nubra Valley. Buses depart periodically from Leh's main bus stand. The journey to Diskit takes about 5-6 hours. From Diskit, hire a local taxi or find shared transportation to Turtuk, which is about 30 km away and takes approximately 1 hour to reach.
