    From the Kokopo Market located in the center of Kokopo, head east towards the main street, and walk along the coastal road (Duke of York Highway) for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Bitapaka Road. At the intersection, turn right onto Bitapaka Road. Continue walking on Bitapaka Road for about 3 kilometers. You will see signs pointing towards the Ataubar Heritage Cultural Village along the way. The village is located on your left, and you will see the entrance sign as you approach.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Kokopo Market, look for a public bus heading towards Bitapaka. Buses usually depart from the bus stop adjacent to the market. Inform the driver that you want to go to Ataubar Heritage Cultural Village. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to the village entrance on Bitapaka Road. From there, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Kokopo Market and head east towards the coastal road (Duke of York Highway). Continue cycling along the highway for about 1 kilometer until you reach Bitapaka Road. Turn right onto Bitapaka Road and cycle for approximately 3 kilometers. The Ataubar Heritage Cultural Village will be on your left, marked by a sign at the entrance.
