Getting There

Walking
From the center of Kokopo, head east on the main road (Kokopo-Kavieng Road). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction at Vunamami. At this junction, take the left turn to stay on Kokopo-Kavieng Road. Follow this road for another 2 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Rakanda Fisheries Jetty. The jetty is located on your left, near the coastline.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kokopo. Once you have your bicycle, head east on the main road (Kokopo-Kavieng Road) for about 1.5 kilometers. At the Vunamami junction, turn left to stay on Kokopo-Kavieng Road. Continue cycling for approximately 2 kilometers until you see signs for Rakanda Fisheries Jetty. The jetty will be on your left, adjacent to the sea.
