    From the center of Kokopo, head east along the main road (Kokopo Road) towards the beach. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn left onto Bitapaka Road. Follow Bitapaka Road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass by local shops and residential areas. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Bitapaka War Cemetery. After about 3 kilometers, you will see a sign for Bitapaka War Cemetery on your right. The cemetery is located a short distance from the road, so follow the pathway leading into the cemetery.

  • Bicycle

    Start from Kokopo Town and ride towards the beachfront along Kokopo Road. Continue past the local market and follow the road as it curves. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Bitapaka Road. Cycle for about 3 kilometers, enjoying the local scenery. Watch for the cemetery sign on your right side. The entrance will be marked, and you can park your bicycle at the entrance before walking into the cemetery.
