Start your journey from the center of Kokopo at the Kokopo Market. Head southeast on the main road (Kokopo-Rabaul Road) towards the East New Britain Provincial Government Office. After about 1 km, you will reach a junction. Turn left at the junction onto the road leading to Bilur Village. Continue walking for approximately 3 km. You will pass several local shops and small villages along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing to Goropoare Heights. As you approach Bilur Village, the road will gradually incline. Follow this road for another 1 km until you reach Goropoare Heights. The area is known for its lush greenery and scenic views, making the walk enjoyable.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Kokopo. Start at the Kokopo Market and head southeast on Kokopo-Rabaul Road. This route is about 5 km long. As the road inclines, be cautious of your surroundings. Once you reach Bilur Village, continue for an additional 1 km to arrive at Goropoare Heights.
