If you are near the Bayfront Convention Center, start your journey by heading southwest on W 8th St toward the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront path, which is well-marked. Follow the path along the bay, enjoying the scenic views. After approximately 0.5 miles, you will come across the entrance to the Presque Isle State Park. The Fort Presque Isle (Blockhouse) is located within the park, so continue walking along the path until you see the signs pointing towards the historical site.

From the Bayfront District, you can take the public bus service (Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority). Board Route 5 (East) at the nearest bus stop. It will take you closer to Presque Isle State Park. The fare is approximately $1.50 for a single ride.
