Car
From the town of Cusco, take the road towards Tinki. Follow the signs to Tinki, making sure to stay on the main road. The journey will take approximately 3 hours. Once in Tinki, look for signs directing you towards Ausangate. Continue for another 30 minutes until you reach the trailhead at the base of the Ausangate Trek. Park your car at the designated parking area before starting your trek towards Mirador Ausangate.

Begin your journey at the main bus terminal in Cusco. Look for buses heading to Tinki; the fare is typically around 15-20 soles. The bus ride will take approximately 3 hours. Once you arrive in Tinki, you can either hire a local taxi or join a group of trekkers to share a taxi to the trailhead, which should cost about 10 soles per person. From the trailhead, start your hike towards Mirador Ausangate, following the path uphill to the viewpoint.
