If you're traveling by car, start from Chivay, the main town in Colca Canyon. Take the CA-30 road heading south towards Cabanaconde. About 15 km down this road, you will see a sign for the Mollepunko Caves. Turn left onto the dirt road at the sign and continue for another 5 km. The entrance to the caves will be marked, and there is a small parking area available.

To reach Mollepunko Caves via public transportation, you can take a bus from Chivay to Cabanaconde. Buses leave frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Cabanaconde, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a guided tour, as public transportation does not go directly to the caves. A taxi from Cabanaconde to the caves will cost approximately 20-30 soles and take about 20 minutes.
