If you are traveling by car from the main town of Chivay in Colca Canyon, head south on the road towards the town of Yanque. Continue on this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Palcacha. Look for signs directing you towards Palcacha. Once on the road to Palcacha, follow the signs and continue for about 15 kilometers. You'll need to pay attention to the turns, as the road can be winding. After another 5 kilometers, you will arrive at the Valle de los Volcanes, which is located at the coordinates HJGM+48X, Palcacha. Be aware that road conditions can vary, so drive cautiously.

To reach Valle de los Volcanes via public transportation, start by taking a local bus or colectivo (shared taxi) from Chivay to the town of Palcacha. Buses to Palcacha typically leave from the central bus terminal in Chivay. The fare is usually around 5-10 soles. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Palcacha, hire a local taxi to take you to the Valle de los Volcanes. The taxi fare from Palcacha to the Valle de los Volcanes should not exceed 20 soles, and the ride will take around 15 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
