Collective Taxi (Colectivo)
From the main square Plaza de Armas in Cusco, head to the nearby street Calle Pavitos where you can find the collective taxis (colectivos) heading to Chinchero. Look for a vehicle that has 'Chinchero' written on it. The fare is typically around 5 PEN. The colectivo will take you directly to Chinchero. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Chinchero, you can ask locals for directions to Museo de Sitio de Chinchero, which is located along Ruta Santisimo Downhill 2.

Public Bus
From Plaza de Armas, walk to the bus terminal located at Calle 7 Cuartones. Look for buses heading to Chinchero. The bus fare is around 4 PEN, and the ride will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive in Chinchero, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to Museo de Sitio de Chinchero, which is located on Ruta Santisimo Downhill 2. It is advisable to ask the bus driver or conductor to let you know when you reach the right stop.

For the adventurous, you can hike from Cusco to Chinchero, which is approximately 28 km. Start from Plaza de Armas and head towards the northwest, taking the road towards Chinchero.
