From the center of Huancavelica, head south on Avenida 28 de Julio. Continue straight as the road becomes Avenida Los Incas. Follow this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto the Carretera Huancavelica - Huando. Drive for approximately 30 kilometers, following the signs for Huando. After passing through the village of Huando, continue for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Escalera, which will be on your right. There is a parking area available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From the main bus terminal in Huancavelica, look for a minibus or colectivo heading to Huando. The fare is approximately 5-10 soles. Once you arrive in Huando, you can either walk or take a mototaxi (around 3 soles) to Escalera, which is about 5 kilometers away. If walking, head south on the main road out of Huando, and you will see signs for Escalera. It should take about an hour on foot.
