Car
If you are driving, start from Huaraz. Head south on Avenida Luzuriaga towards the Panamericana Norte. After approximately 12 km, take the exit towards Calle Centenario. Continue on Calle Centenario for about 5 km until you reach the intersection with Calle 28 de Julio. Turn left onto Calle 28 de Julio, and follow the signs for Huayhuash Circuit. Continue for 25 km until you reach the trailhead parking area. From there, park your vehicle and follow the marked trail towards Mirador de Rataquenua, which is approximately a 3-hour hike from the parking area.

To reach Mirador de Rataquenua using public transportation, start at the main bus terminal in Huaraz. Look for buses or collectivos heading towards Chiquian or the Huayhuash Circuit.
