Start from Huaraz city center. Head south on Avenida Luzuriaga until you reach the intersection with Avenida 28 de Julio. Turn right onto Avenida 28 de Julio and continue straight for about 3 kilometers. You will see the signs for 'Cerro de la Cruz' or 'Mirador de Huaraz' as you approach the area. Follow the signs and drive up the winding road. The destination, Lugar especial para ver sunsets, is located at coordinates FF6M+VRP. There is no entrance fee, but make sure to arrive at least an hour before sunset for the best views.

From the main bus terminal in Huaraz, look for local buses or colectivos (shared taxis) that head towards 'Cerro de la Cruz' or 'Mirador de Huaraz'. The fare is usually around 2-3 soles. Ask the driver to drop you off at the appropriate stop. From the drop-off point, it’s a short hike up to Lugar especial para ver sunsets. Be sure to leave the city early enough to catch the sunset, as public transportation may have limited schedules.
