Private Car
If you have access to a private car, start from the town of Huaraz, which is the nearest major city. Take the PE-3N highway towards the south, following signs for Chiquian. After approximately 90 kilometers, you'll reach the town of Chiquian. From Chiquian, continue on the road towards Huayhuash, which is about 50 kilometers away. The road can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Once you reach the trailhead for the Huayhuash Circuit, you can park your car and begin your trek towards Cordillera Huayhuash.

Public Transportation
To reach Cordillera Huayhuash using public transportation, start from Huaraz. Take a bus to Chiquian, which can be found at the bus terminal. The bus ride takes about 2-3 hours and costs around 10-15 soles. Once in Chiquian, you can either hire a taxi or take another bus towards the town of Huayhuash, which is approximately 50 kilometers away. The taxi ride will be more direct but cost around 50-70 soles. Buses may be less frequent, so confirm the schedule ahead of time. Once you reach Huayhuash, you can start your trek to Cordillera Huayhuash.
