If you're traveling by car from the Lares Trek area, head towards Urubamba and take the route towards Chinchero. The drive will take approximately 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you arrive in Chinchero, navigate to Ruta Santisimo Downhill. The Museo de Sitio de Chinchero is located at Ruta Santisimo Downhill 2, Chinchero 08651. There is usually parking available nearby, but be sure to check local regulations regarding parking.
Public Transport
To reach Museo de Sitio de Chinchero using public transportation, first find a bus or colectivo (shared taxi) heading to Chinchero from Urubamba or Cusco. The fare from Urubamba is around 5-10 soles and the journey will take approximately 30-60 minutes.
