Getting There

Car
From the center of Iquitos, head southeast on Avenida Mariscal Ramón Castilla toward Avenida José de la Riva Agüero. Continue straight onto the Carr. Iquitos-Nauta road. Follow this road for approximately 13.8 km until you reach the Centro de Rescate Amazónico, which will be on your right. Look for the signage indicating the entrance. Parking is available on-site, but ensure to check for any fees that may apply.

Public Transportation (Mototaxi)
From any central location in Iquitos, take a mototaxi (a three-wheeled motorcycle taxi) to the Carr. Iquitos-Nauta road, informing the driver that you want to go to the Centro de Rescate Amazónico. The fare should be around 10-15 soles, depending on the distance from your starting point. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the rescue center.

Locate a bus that travels along the Carr. Iquitos-Nauta route. Buses are frequent and can be caught from various points in Iquitos. Inform the conductor that you wish to disembark at the Centro de Rescate Amazónico, and they will drop you off close to the entrance. The fare is typically about 2-5 soles. Be prepared for the journey to take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
