From Aguas Calientes, you can take a local bus or a train to Urubamba.

To get to Urubamba from Machu Picchu, exit the archaeological site and walk to the bus station in Aguas Calientes, which is located near the train station. Purchase a bus ticket and board a bus that heads towards the Sacred Valley. The bus ride will take you through beautiful scenery and will drop you off in Urubamba. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the most current departure times.
Train
After visiting Machu Picchu, walk back to Aguas Calientes. From there, go to the train station, which is located near the town center. Purchase a ticket for a train that goes towards Urubamba or Ollantaytambo. The train journey will provide stunning views of the Sacred Valley, and once you arrive at the station, you can either walk or take a taxi to your final destination in Urubamba.
