Once you reach Huanchaco, continue straight until you see the signs for Chan Chan. The archaeological site is located at VWVG+Q5C, Huanchaco. There is limited parking available near the entrance. Ensure you have some cash available for entry fees, which are approximately 10 soles per person.

To reach Chan Chan by public transportation, you can take a local bus or colectivo (shared taxi) from Trujillo to Huanchaco. Head to the main bus terminal in Trujillo and look for buses marked for Huanchaco. The fare is typically around 1.50 soles. Once in Huanchaco, you can either walk to Chan Chan, which is about a 20-minute walk, or take a local taxi for about 5 soles. Make sure to confirm the destination with the driver before getting in.
