If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the city of Huaraz, which is the main gateway to Parque Nacional Huascarán. From Huaraz, take the PE-3N highway heading east. After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach the junction of the PE-3N and PE-10S. Turn onto PE-10S, which will take you directly towards the park. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Parque Nacional Huascarán. Be prepared for winding roads and stunning views of the Andes.

To reach Parque Nacional Huascarán via public transport, start from Huaraz. Head to the main bus terminal in Huaraz and look for buses heading towards Carhuaz or Yungay. The bus fare typically costs between 10-15 soles. The journey will take about 30 to 45 minutes. Once you reach Carhuaz or Yungay, you can hire a taxi or catch a shared taxi (colectivo) to the entrance of the national park, which will cost around 20-30 soles. The drive from either town to the park entrance will take around 20 minutes.
