Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Trujillo city. Head northwest on Av. España towards Av. La Marina. Follow signs for Moche. Continue on Av. Juan Pablo II until you reach the intersection with Carr. Campiña de Moche. Turn left on Carr. Campiña de Moche and continue for about 5 km. La Huaca de la Luna will be on your right at the address V285+3W2, Carr. Campiña de Moche, Moche 13600. Parking is available on-site, and entry fees apply.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a bus from Trujillo to Moche. Buses leave from the central bus terminal in Trujillo, and the fare is typically around 2-3 soles. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Moche, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) towards La Huaca de la Luna or take a local taxi for around 10 soles. Ensure to confirm the fare before you begin the taxi journey.
Taxi
If you prefer a direct route from Trujillo, you can hire a taxi. The fare from Trujillo to La Huaca de la Luna is approximately 25-30 soles, and the journey takes around 20 minutes. Make sure to agree on the price before starting your trip.
