From Trujillo city center, head to the main bus terminal located at Av. España. Purchase a ticket to Huanchaco, which costs around 2-3 soles. Buses to Huanchaco run frequently, approximately every 15-20 minutes. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride that takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the last stop in Huanchaco, which is close to the beach.

Once you arrive in Huanchaco, walk towards the Malecon Grau. From the bus stop, head straight towards the beach, keeping the ocean to your left. Walk along the promenade, and you will soon arrive at Playa Varadero, located on Malecon Grau. The beach is a popular destination, so you can easily follow the crowd if you're unsure.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Trujillo. Head to a nearby taxi stand and inform the driver you want to go to Playa Varadero in Huanchaco. The fare should be around 20-25 soles, and the ride typically takes about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off right at the beach on Malecon Grau.
