    If you are starting from the Gdańsk Main Train Station (Dworzec Główny), exit the station and head east on 3 Maja Street. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Podwale Przedmiejskie. Turn left onto Podwale Przedmiejskie and walk for another 300 meters until you reach the waterfront. You will see the Motława River. Turn right and walk along the river for about 600 meters until you reach the famous Green Gate (Zielona Brama). From the Green Gate, continue straight on Długa Street (Long Street) for about 500 meters, passing by the beautiful architecture. When you reach the Town Hall, continue straight until you reach the end of Długa Street. Turn left onto Świętojańska Street, and after about 100 meters, the Basilica of St. Nicholas will be on your right at Świętojańska 72.

    From the Gdańsk Main Train Station (Dworzec Główny), walk to the nearest tram stop, which is located just outside the station on 3 Maja Street. Take tram line 3 or 6 heading towards Nowy Port. Get off at the 'Brama Wyżynna' stop after about 5 stops. From there, walk towards the Długa Street (Long Street) direction for about 400 meters until you reach the Town Hall. Once at the Town Hall, turn left onto Świętojańska Street, and you will find the Basilica of St. Nicholas at number 72 on your right.
