If you're starting your journey at the Gdańsk Main Town area, head towards the Motława River. From the Neptun Fountain, walk towards Długi Targ (Long Market) and continue down to the riverside. Follow the river promenade along the Motława River towards the east. You'll pass by various cafes and shops. Keep walking until you reach the bridge connecting to Ołowianka Island, which is about a 15-minute walk. The Footbridge to Ołowianka - bascule bridge will be directly ahead.

To reach the Footbridge to Ołowianka - bascule bridge by tram, find the nearest tram stop (For example, 'Brama Wyżynna'). Take tram line 3 towards 'Nowa Słotwina' or line 9 towards 'Zaspa'. Get off at the 'Dworzec Główny' stop. From there, walk towards the river, heading to the east until you reach the Motława River. Continue walking along the river promenade until you reach the bridge. The total journey may take around 25-30 minutes including walking.
