Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Gdańsk Main Railway Station (Dworzec Główny), exit the station and head toward the city center. Walk through the main entrance, and when you reach the traffic lights, turn right onto ul. 3 Maja. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with ul. Wita Stwosza, where you will see the impressive St. Mary's Church on your left. Continue past the church and follow the road as it curves to the left onto ul. Piwna. At the end of Piwna, turn right onto ul. Długa. Keep walking straight until you reach the Green Gate (Zielona Brama) on your left. Cross the street and proceed along Długie Pobrzeże, which runs parallel to the Motława River. Continue walking until you see the Amber Museum on your right. Just past the museum, take the first left onto ul. Chlebnicka, then turn right onto ul. Świętojańska. St. John's Gate will be on your left at the end of the street.

Public Transport (Tram)
If you prefer to take public transport, start by walking to the nearest tram stop, which is at the Gdańsk Main Railway Station. From there, take tram line 3 (the direction is toward the direction of 'Nowa Wieś') and ride for two stops until you reach the 'Targ Rybny' stop. Exit the tram and walk straight ahead on ul. Targ Rybny. After a few minutes, you will reach the junction with ul. Chlebnicka. Turn left onto ul. Chlebnicka and continue until you reach ul. Świętojańska.
