If you are in the heart of Gdańsk, head towards the historic area of the Old Town. Start at the famous Long Market (Długi Targ) and walk towards the Green Gate (Zielona Brama). From the Green Gate, walk along the Motława River. Continue straight until you reach the end of the river promenade, then turn left. Walk along the street until you reach Świętojańska Street. The Church of St. John will be on your right at number 50.

If you are further away, you can use the tram system. Find the nearest tram stop and take tram number 3 or 8 heading towards Gdańsk Zaspa or Gdańsk Wrzeszcz. Get off at the 'Gdańsk, Brama Wyżynna' stop. From there, head towards the Old Town, walking down Podwale Grodzkie street until you reach the Green Gate. Then follow the walking directions from the Green Gate as described above.
