Getting There

  • Public Transport - Tram

    From Gdańsk Główny railway station, head to the tram stop located just outside the station. Take Tram Line 3 (direction: Gdańsk Zaspa) or Tram Line 2 (direction: Gdańsk Stogi) and get off at the 'Wrzeszcz Centrum' stop. From there, transfer to Tram Line 6 (direction: Zaspa) and ride until you reach the 'Gdańsk Przymorze' stop. Walk straight ahead for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Swietopelek the Great Statue, which is situated in a small park area.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the city center, you can walk to the statue. Start at the Gdańsk Main Town Hall (Ratusz Główne Miasto) and head south towards Długi Targ (Long Market). Continue walking straight until you reach the Motława River. Cross the bridge at Most Zielony and walk along the riverbank until you reach the junction. Turn left onto ul. Kołłątaja and walk for about 15-20 minutes. The statue will be on your right in the park area.

    From Gdańsk Główny, take Bus 100 (direction: Dąbrowszczaków) from the bus stop located outside the train station. Ride for 5 stops and get off at 'Gdańsk Zaspa' stop. Walk for about 8 minutes towards the park where Swietopelek the Great Statue is located.
