Car

If you are driving, start from the city center of Albufeira. Head east on Avenida da Liberdade towards Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight onto Rua da 1º de Maio. After about 1 km, turn right onto R. de João Guita. Antiguo Fuerte San Andrés will be on your left at number 103A. Parking may be available nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.

To reach Antiguo Fuerte San Andrés using public transport, locate the nearest bus stop in Albufeira. Take the local bus service that heads towards 'Olhos de Água' or 'Ferreiras'. Make sure to check the bus schedule as services may vary. Get off at the stop nearest to R. de João Guita. From there, walk approximately 5 minutes, heading towards R. de João Guita, and look for number 103A. A single bus fare is approximately €2.

If you are already in the Albufeira old town, you can walk to Antiguo Fuerte San Andrés. Start from the main square (Praça dos Pescadores) and walk up Rua 5 de Outubro. Continue straight until you reach Avenida da Liberdade, then turn right. Follow this road for about 1 km until you reach R. de João Guita. Turn left onto R. de João Guita, and Antiguo Fuerte San Andrés will be at number 103A on your left. This walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes.
