If you are traveling by car, start by heading to Coimbra, which is well connected to other cities in Beira Litoral. From Coimbra, take the EN1 road towards the north. Continue on EN1 for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach Choupal National Forest, which is located on the side of the road. There is parking available near the entrance of the forest.

To reach Choupal National Forest via public transport, first take a train or bus to Coimbra. The train station is located in the city center, and several bus lines connect Coimbra to other towns in Beira Litoral. Once you arrive in Coimbra, you can take a local bus (Bus number 34) that goes towards the EN1 highway. Get off at the stop closest to Choupal National Forest, which should be approximately a 10-minute walk from the stop. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary.

If you are already in the Coimbra area and prefer walking, from the city center, head towards the EN1 road. The walk to Choupal National Forest is approximately 4 kilometers and takes around 50 minutes. Walk along the main roads, following the signs to EN1, and enjoy the scenic surroundings as you approach the forest.
