Walking
If you are starting from the Braga train station (Estação de Braga), exit the station and head northwest on Rua da Estação. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Avenida da Liberdade. Turn right onto Avenida da Liberdade and walk approximately 1 kilometer. You will see the Centro histórico de Braga on your left. Look for the famous landmarks such as the Braga Cathedral and the Arch of the New Gate as you approach.
