Start at the central square of Caldas da Rainha, Praça da República. From the square, head northeast on Rua do Comércio towards Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1.º de Maio. Turn left onto Avenida 1.º de Maio and walk until you reach the bus station (Terminal Rodoviário de Caldas da Rainha).

At the bus station, look for the bus routes that head towards Óbidos. You can take the bus line that goes to Óbidos, which is usually marked clearly at the bus stop. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the schedule for the next departures.

Walking
Once you arrive at Óbidos, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, you need to walk towards the Lagoa de Óbidos. Exit the bus station and head southwest on Rua da Liberdade until you reach Rua da Muralha. Follow this road until you see signs directing you towards Lagoa de Óbidos. After about a 20-minute walk, you will reach the beautiful lagoon area.

Upon reaching Lagoa de Óbidos, you can explore the area by walking along the waterfront. There are several viewpoints and paths along the lagoon that provide beautiful scenery. Look for the marked trails leading towards Gronho, which is located on the east side of the lagoon. Follow the trails and signs that will ultimately lead you to Gronho - Lagoa de Óbidos.
